Please step into my garden and see what the rain and sun have given me! The (almost) spring blooms are heavenly and I was convinced a few of them would certainly want to come inside and be with me. This morning I set out in the rain, huddled in bathrobe and hoodie happily snipping away. The rain was so soft and quiet and while I knew I was getting wet, I couldn't seem to stop. My husband snapped me out of my trance when he called out from the door, "Do you know it's raining?" I spent the next half hour arranging my flowers and then placing the bouquets around the house. 

Hello! Today I'm popping in for a quick post about a dinner party we are hosting tonight. It's easy and I'll tell you why, it's for our dinner club and the hosts only have to make the main course, Butter Chicken tonight, and the guests bring everything else! Think of it as an elevated pot luck. The appetizer, first course, side veg, naan and pepper butter, rice and dessert will arrive at 6 PM all ready to go! Attached to each dish will be a smiling face who is ready to eat, drink and be merry. We meet once a month, the second Friday, and will have 14 people if everyone is in town. Tonight we will be 12.
