organizing caddy giveaway for knitters or anyone!

December 05, 2022

Edited: this giveaway is closed. Congratulations to the winners, Mary and Terri.

I am so excited to offer TWO giveaways from the kind folks at Mollie Ollie, and I'm pretty sure you are going to be excited too! Mollie Ollie makes beautiful  hard wearing felt caddies and organizers. I own two of the Mimmo Felt Caddy organizers, one for my knitting room and one for my car. My car caddy carries the essentials in one place: tissues, sunscreen, pen and paper, umbrella, hand sanitizer, masks, coloring books and toys, extra readers and sunglasses, and my shopping bags. It sits on my front seat for easy access, but when I have a rider, it's easy to move to the back seat. However, the caddy I love the most is the one I keep in my knitting room. It holds all my knitting needles and notions in one place at right at my fingertips. No more going through drawers to find the extra counter or the tape measurer. When I have a visitor staying in my knitting room/guest room, and since it's a grab and go type of thing, it's handy to whisk it away to another room, and I don't leave a thing behind! I have become so accustomed to my knitting caddy, and because it's so compact and sturdy, I bring it with us on road trips. It also folds flat so I was able to take it on a cruise and set it up on the desk in our tiny stateroom to corral all the travel flotsam and knitting things I needed. It was actually kind of genius I thought and definitely doing that again.

These make great gifts and I've given a few away myself. Both my daughter and granddaughter use their's as a car caddy, and my daughter-in-law used it as a diaper caddy, but as he has outgrown that, it is now used as the craft/coloring book caddy. The caddy comes in two colors, teal/rose and gray/turquoise, is 14.5 by 9.5 by 7" and includes 8 pockets and 2 removable dividers. The 7 piece modular felt tray set shown above comes in either teal/gray or light gray. Because it's so soft, it can be used to safely store jewelry, and because it's washable you can use it as a makeup organizer.  The set includes 1 large (11.2x7.8x2 inch), 2 medium-sized (7.5x5.5x2 inch), 4 small-sized (5.2x3.6x2 Inch). You can customize a layout to fit any size drawer and for your specific need, e.g. cosmetics, stationery, bathroom, office, kitchen, dresser and organize without wasted space. You can find out more information on the Mollie Ollie website

I'll choose two winners at random. It's easy to enter, just make a comment on this post!

-Scroll down to make a comment on this post and tell me your first choice and second choice from the 4 choices above, either the caddy or the 7 piece organizer, both available in two colors.

-Make sure I know how to get a hold of you if you win! I use the Blogger platform and they are terrible at giving me your info, so please leave either your Ravelry name (and I'll contact you through Rav) or your email address. If you are not comfortable leaving your information, I understand, but you can still enter. Leave a comment and leave your first name and last initial and I'll make a post and announce the winner at the end of the contest. You will have to come back next Sunday, December 11, to see if you are one of the winners and then you can contact me!

-I'd appreciate it if you would forward this post to your friends and post it on your social media accounts. Thank you so much.

-We can't guarantee these will arrive before Christmas, but we'll do our best!

-One comment per reader.

-Giveaway open to readers with addresses in the continental USA only.

-The giveaways will run until the morning of December 11 and I will announce the winners at that time.

-Please don't be shy! Your chances of winning are good!

-Below is how I use my hard working Mimmo Caddy! I love it.

  2. Not sure what the four choices are since I’m basing my first choice on color. I love the gray/turquoise combination followed by the teal/rose. I could think of many uses for these caddies. Sue E. from central Pennsylvania.

  7. Dear Kristen, What a great prize! I already bought the turquoise and gray caddy in the last year or so in response to your review. Feels so luxurious and I really love it. Don’t make use enough of those side pockets, though, judging from how you arrange yours! Since our retirement home is so tiny and both our hobbies are so space-eating, one is plenty for me and I will just watch from the sidelines to see who are the lucky winners! On behalf of all the “contestants”, Thank You! Chloe

  9. Thank you for introducing us to these organizers. In particular I love that the contents in the organizers are all visible at the same time, something about being able to have a visual scan of everything, in an organized way, is very pleasing without being an overwhelming jumble. Portability is a relief!

  13. I know I’m supposed to tell you which caddy I’d choose if it were up to me (and if I don’t win, I expect I’ll go get myself one because they seem so very useful) so I’ll say gray. But that aqua one is gorgeous too.

  14. Your knitting has inspired me for lots of years now. When you began knitting for your adorable grandson, I was hooked. Now that my grandson will be 3 and not growing quite so quickly, I love seeing what you have knit for yours. The patterns you choose and how you customize them is so helpful. I adore both of the caddies and am constantly looking for a way to neatly corral my knitting instead of just in a basket on the floor. Rav nam is: tmanley or email is manley.terri@gmail.com
Thanks again for being so willing to share your creativity!

My 3d grade granddaughter, who loves organizers, and fills them with her reading and art supplies, is all about the teal. c.b.crooke@gmail.com or Nordicheart on Ravelry!
