Exposed
July 02, 2011I love my new Exposed cardi!
I used 2 skeins of Handwerks Silky Sock in Tropical Seas. The yarn is lovely, soft and silky, but the color is what makes the magic. I love all blues, and this blue is the prettiest cornflower-sky-ocean blue.
I found out the the lady that dyes this yarn works at my lys, Uncommon Threads. They have a large and beautiful selection of her yarn, but I know you can buy it online too. She's there on Wednesdays if you want to meet her!
Designer Lisa Mutch is a genius. I enjoyed knitting this well written pattern. I love how the little edges curl up and give a whimsical finish. Fun to wear!
