free books!

Free books? You bet! I have a lot of knitting books that need to find a new home and I'm hoping you can help me out. I have a beautiful selection of gorgeous Rowan publications including darling children's books. If you'd like to know how they can be yours, read on.

 Lot ONE
TAKEN Nine soft cover knitting books, heavy on Rowan, including I Knit New York, Rowan Finest by Sarah Hatton, Rowan Swarovski Daytime Collection, Rowan Swarovski Evening Collection, Angora Haze by Martin Storey, plus more!

Lot TWO
TAKEN One hardcover book, 4 softcover books, 4 magazines, 3 vintage pamphlets including Rowan Once Upon a Time by Marie Wallin, Rowan Kids, Little Rowan Blossom, and more!

Edited 4/5, both lots are now gone.

If you are interested in either lot ONE or lot TWO, please email me at kristen l rettig at g mail dot com and tell me your preference. I only ask that you pay for the $12 postage. If more than one person is interested I will give the first emailer 24 hours to pay, then go to the next person in line.  Because of shipping costs I can only ship to the US lower 48.

All books can be found on Ravelry.

Fondly, Kristen

  2. I admire you Kristen for making the effort to find a good home for your still very useful books and yarn, when many would easily just dump them in the nearest receptacle or leave it to relatives to scratch their heads over. I myself have “over-bought” and should be doing the same. Maybe your example will inspire me to - at the very least - find a suitable charity - to donate some of my knitting possessions to. Maybe.
