I've just added some yarn lots to my Ravelry destash page if you are in the market for some beautiful yarn at rock bottom prices. You can view them here. If you are interested you can contact me through Ravelry, or if you are not on Ravelry you can contact me through...

my email, kristen l rettig at g mail dot com.

All yarn prices include shipping to the continental US. I accept payment through PayPal.

This is what I have listed:

SOLD. If you've never tried Debbie Bliss baby cashmerino, you're in for a treat; soft and machine washable.
Enough for an adult sweater, several children's or baby sweaters or one big shawl.
1230 yards for $40.

SOLD Tanis Fiber Arts Purewash Fingering, three skeins in Skyscape. This is completely gorgeous and it kills me to list it, but I've had it now for a few years and don't have a plan for it. $60.

SOLD baa ram ewe Winterburn DK. Five skeins in Rose Window.
A gorgeous blend of Blue-Faced Leicester and Masham. $40.

Rowan Handknit Cotton, my favorite cotton yarn. 725 yards, enough to make two baby sweaters,
one small child's sweater and hat, or one large child's sweater. $25.

An oldie but goodie, Astrakhan is from the Debbie Bliss cashmerino line and just beautiful.
I love this and have held onto it for a while to see if I could make a project happen, but no.
Ten skeins for $40. Ravelry link here.

SOLD Rowan Baby Merino Silk DK. The color above in the photo is actually darker than the actual color. I would call it a medium blue with teal. Color 677, Teal. 1176 yards for $30. Machine wash.

SOLD I meant to make a baby sweater out of this, but my baby grew up too fast!
420 yards of Madeline Tosh Merino, $25.
Ravelry link here.

The next two below I've been saving to make a subtly striped sweater or shawl, but I've given myself a few years and it has not happened. FYI, Shibui is now out of business, so when their beautiful yarn is gone, it's gone forever.

Leftover from a project, Shibui Echo in color Tar is a blend of silk and cotton.
480 yards for $22.
Ravelry link here.

Shibui Echo as above, in Graphite.
640 yards for $28.

  1. Oh I am so glad that Rowan Baby Merino Silk DK was already sold because I have had excellent results with it and would have wanted to add it to my already store-sized stash. You have some lucky buyers out there, Kristen. I have enjoyed working with carefully selected big box store yarns almost as much as boutique yarns, but the fabric that is created by quality yarns such as Rowan can’t be beat. Chloe

    1. Hi Chloe. Agree about that Baby Merino Silk, and it was especially hard to let go, but I'm also very happy to move them along to another home. Hopefully it won't sit in the stash bin for as long as it's been in mine! Next to go it books! I just found out that my LYS's yarn swap will not accept books anymore, and I've got a few dozen!
