Bubbling Over Hat

September 02, 2022

I fell in love with this pattern and the moment I saw it, it was in my cart and on my needles. The colorwork is mosaic, which uses slipped stitches and just one color per row. It's so fun to do!

The yarn, Softyak DK by Rowan, is one of Carter's favorites and we've dubbed it pajama yarn because it's so soft. Softyak DK is always my safest bet for him as it is completely non itchy and can be machine washed.

My Ravelry project page with my single, tiny modification.
There is a good selection of Softyak DK on the Rowan site.
Rowan Softyak DK at Jimmy Beans it's on sale but the selection is low.

  1. Kristin, your use of three different rows of color has elevated this pattern! If I use it to practice my slipstitch skills (as a headband-so much less intimidating) I will try to do the same! Chloe
