  2. Absolutely glorious. We must share some DNA as roses are my favourite flowers and I love my grandshildren and knitting. Thank you so much. Do you know the rose Queen Elizabeth? and was that yellow rose The Yellow Rose of Texas. I only know of it because of the song in the 1950's. love from Victoria.

    1. Thank you!
I do know the rose Queen Elizabeth. I think it's a beautiful rose as I love pink! I have never grown it but we have to replace a few roses next year and will consider that. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the yellow roses but I'm certain it's not Yellow Rose of Texas because I would remember that! I have two yellow roses from David Austin that are about to bloom and I'll include in an upcoming post. One is a medium clear yellow, Graham Thomas and another is a light yellow called Pilgrim. Both are prolific bloomers but are blooming a little late for me this year. I still have a few roses to photograph once the bloom Thank you for writing to me. Your kindred spirit, Kristen

    1. Thank you. I love 'Eden' Climbing ('Pierre de Ronsard') for a pink climber. You can see that on the several last pictures of the rose post. For red I love Blaze Climber. I don't have a white climber but I think I'm going to get a Climbing Iceberg which is white, to replace a climber that we lost. I hear great things about it.
