mr. fox

October 21, 2017

Good morning to you! I've finished the first of my Christmas gifts, the free and animal friendly fox scarf pattern from Gina Michelle. My 17 year old granddaughter thought it was cute and wanted one. Happy to oblige. I'm also making her a Big Wool hooded coat that is coming along very well. I've just finished a little baby dress and matching coat for a dear friend's first granddaughter. I used a lovely new-to-me yarn and I can't wait to share. The designer has very kindly offered to give my readers a discount on her gorgeous portfolio of patterns so stay tuned for that upcoming post. There's a sneaky peek of it above. I picked pink roses this morning--California is like that in October!

  1. Cute scarf, adorable dress, beautiful roses. What's a scummy appetizer?

    1. I didn't realize what you meant when I first saw this until I realized it was a terrible typo! LOL

  2. You make me want to live in California, Kristen, even more than I already want to live there. But I will have to be content to just visit. That Gina Michelle is a great resource for fun and cleverly simple projects, isn't she? I have several bookmarked and am on my second bunny-from-a-square. Haven't attempted Mr. Fox yet. No recipient on the horizon. I wondered what a scummy appetizer was, too, until I realized it was probably a typo for "yummy." Chloe

    1. I didn't realize she had a portfolio of cute patterns until I read your comment and then looked her up. Yes, she has some pretty cute patterns like the kitten, the booties and the one square bunny. Clever girl. Love Ravelry.

  3. Or maybe not. Being so close to Halloween "scummy" might be most appropriate. Chloe
