top ten free for fall

Just back from Maine, and boy did I love that state! Somehow I just I knew I would, it's a truly beautiful place. We were lucky, everything was all blue skies and orange-red leaves. Just so I can prolong those wonderful vacay memories a bit, I've got a little gift for you...my top ten leaf themed patterns that I love the most. All are on Rav, and most are free. Prolong the beauty of autumn leaves by wearing them around your neck or on your tootsies. And the best news is there is no cable needle required for all or most of these; simple leaf knitting is just some knit togethers and yarn overs. Links included with each picture caption.

| 2. Easy to wear Saroyan by Liz Abinante has a lovely leafy border. |

| 3. There's lots of leaves to knit, but I like Little Leaves
by Alana Dakos best.
Any weight yarn
is appropriate but they are extra pretty in tweedy yarn.
Knit a bowl full for a fall decoration, or use them as
book marks, napkin rings, or appliques.
You could even make a wreath or a baby mobile!

Love your pattern choices Kristen, I've always liked leaf patterns. I am just finishing Saroyan myself; a bit tricky at first translating from US jargon to UK but once I'd worked it out it's been a joy to knit. The leaf shawl above is going in my rav library as is the baby jacket & blanket. Many thanks for sharing
