I have 3 FOs that I have to share, the knitting is the easy part, but getting the pictures taken and writing them up is the hard part!  The one I'm showing today is a pattern from Jenny Watson that I purchased over 2 years ago.  It paired beautifully with some Rowan Cork that I've had in my stash for years.  I really love this and have been wearing it often. Rowan Cork is discontinued, but if you can find any, snatch it up, you won't be disappointed.   It has a chain construction and made from the softest merino wool and has a beautiful depth of color with a hint of heather.  The bulky weight knits up fast and springy and while it makes great outer wear, for me it is next-to-the-skin soft. It will knit up softer than what it feels like in the skein.  The fabric is strong yet fluid, great for this cardigan.

The pattern is written flat and seamed.  You cast on a huge amount of stitches and then start decreasing  at 4 different places in the back and 2 places for each front.  At the end of the decreases it's time for the armholes and it seems to be finished in no time at all.  The front edges are integrated into the pattern so the only finishing is seaming and a bit of working on the collar at the back.  It's fun to wear having a lot of swing and movement, which I tried to show with my twirly action shots!  The last two pictures show one set of decreases on the back.





I'm moving along with my Baileys Irish Cream, both sleeves done, now on to the body, plus Relax is getting a little knitting action too.  I'm off now to meet a friend for lunch wearing my new sweater!
