It really doesn't take much to brighten up a corner, does it?
A few early spring blossoms
A camellia stem
Some ferns
But this amaryllis is a soooo amazing! I'm glad I planted it late so I can enjoy now, after the holidays.

OH Kristen! You are making me so hungry for spring! It is so dreary here in Central Illinois. I can't wait to see the flowers and green grass!
ReplyDeleteNot in California :-) !
ReplyDeleteflowers always make my day, too!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful!!!!! Our camellia are not blooming yet. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about beautiful flowers that's so uplifting? I don't know, but it works, doesn't it?! And I'm always behind in getting my paperwhites and amarylis planted for the holidays too, but I guess that's not such a bad thing after all -- as you said, good for some post holiday cheer in the house.

wow--that amaryllis is stunning! Have your roses started to bloom yet? I hope you have gotten yourself some chain mail gloves to wear now in the garden when tending them! Hope your trip to Maui is fabulous.
