gramps

March 27, 2019

Just in time for baseball season: a gramps cardigan in the San Francisco Giants colors for my little 20 month old baseball fan. The yarn is Rowan Handknit Cotton and the pattern is Gramps from Tin Can Knits, sized from newborn to 4XL. Amazing pattern and loveliest cotton yarn ever. The baseball buttons make me laugh. I have a little collection of them because I'm obsessed! I found the iron logo from Amazon. Go Giants!

Baseball buttons here, and here, and here.

And since we're on orange this post, our orange harvest is amazing this year!

    1. Thank you. I have found that Tin Can Knits patterns are really worth owning and knitting. This one goes up to a 4XL! We are going to the San Francisco opening day next Friday and I'll make sure to take some pictures and share them. We meant to take him last summer, but we had a hectic summer and never got a chance. This summer we hope to get up there more often. Our ball park has fun things for the littles to do.

    1. Thank you Margie. He wore it last week and he did look adorable. I'm hoping he'll get a lot of wear out of it before he outgrows it!

  3. That’s awesome! But I have to say, “ go Dodgers!” Lol I think we will both be disappointed again this year.

    1. Did I hear right, and that you had 6 home runs yesterday? The news flashed before me as I was online, and I didn't want to see if it was actually true!

PS, I grew up in Dodger country and we all were Dodger fans back in the day. Forty five years ago we moved north and now we of course have to be Giants fans!
